ABOUT MST MANUFACTURING YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AT WORK FOR YOU

MST Manufacturing: Years of CNC Experience at Work for You

Thirty-Five years ago, Kenneth Statton founded his first machine shop with his father in the garage of the family home in Verdigris, Oklahoma, just outside of Tulsa. The Statton Company grew from this garage-based start-up machine shop to a well-respected company serving a multitude of industries. In later years, Kenneth and his father would move on to serve their respective passions. This is where Kenny elected to excel in serving the aerospace community as a fully certified AS9100 Company and would soon build one of the largest manufacturing Job Shops in the Tulsa area. M&M Manufacturing rapidly grew over a 16 year span, with average annual growth of more than 25%, utilizing its AS9100/ISO 9001 certifications and eventually a workforce of more than 100 professionals. M&M was recognized, among other things, as one of Tulsa’s best companies to work for and made the Tulsa’s Fastest 40 Growing Companies list multiple times.

After selling M&M in 2016, Kenneth focused his energy his other manufacturing company specializing in parts for the automotive industry.  Motorsports Tulsa (MST) had been Kenneth’s product line with specific focus on his very own product line for parts and assemblies designed for air-cooled Volkswagen engines that had been around for years. This was fueled by the influence of his father and grandfather and has proven to be a successful journey.

Soon after the dedicated growth of Motorsports Tulsa, Kenneth rebranded as MST Manufacturing, certified to AS9100 standards as well as ISO and ITAR and restarted a journey supporting the same aerospace and energy industries as before.  Motorsports Tulsa is now “Parts By MST” and is managed by Mary, Kenneth’s wife and boasts year over year growth and distribution on four continents.   His son Steven, following in the true spirit of family entrepreneurship, launched a company called Liberty Forged which specializes in custom forged wheels for the lifted truck market.  Steven has navigated this business in just a few short years to one the most recognized and respected brands on the market.

The flagship company for this latest chapter in the Statton Family plan is MST Manufacturing.  The rebranded company has landed on a primary focus supporting aerospace, space and defense companies. MST proudly makes parts and assemblies for OEM’s and Tier One Manufacturer’s alike.  MST has gone from an aerospace restart for Kenneth and family in 2016 to annual sales in excess of $30 million, 80 people and an endless runway of opportunity.  Today, MST is proudly located in a 65,000 square foot facility, resting on our six-acre campus in Claremore, Oklahoma.  And that’s not all, we are adding floor space and personnel at a blistering rate.

In addition to all of this, the Statton Family has been extremely fortunate in onboarding some incredible members to its leadership team.  These industry savoy and experienced individuals bring a “next level” perspective to the mission and continue to develop strategies and programs that will continue to make MST a leader in manufacturing.

Aerospace, Defense, Space, Automotive and Energy.  These are just a few of the outstanding industries this family and their extended family of talented team members is proud to support.
